What We Are
Birthday Checkpoint is a wellness education platform that provides general information about cancer screening guidelines based on publicly available recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).
What We Are Not
We are not a covered entity under HIPAA. We do not provide medical services, diagnoses, or treatment. We do not access your medical records or communicate with your healthcare providers.
Information You Provide
The information you voluntarily provide to us (such as age, sex, and screening status) is self-reported and is not considered Protected Health Information under HIPAA. However, we treat all your information with the highest level of privacy and security.
Our Privacy Commitment
While HIPAA may not legally apply to our service, we hold ourselves to high privacy standards. We never sell your data, we encrypt all information in transit and at rest, and we give you full control over your data including the ability to export or delete it at any time.
